I like that people are already complaining about Luna not being what they wanted.
But it's still Hasbro's/the cartoon team's character. Although I'm liking Luna better already if she's not the emo crybaby everyone inexplicably wanted her to be.
Maybe she'll try to act nice, but will accidentally keep scaring the kids.

I never saw any interpretation that she was emo cry baby.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
Really? A lot of fanart was sad Lunas on the moon.
Quite a fics have angsting about the Nightmare Moon fiasco. A few of them try to spin it as Celestia's fault.

Death Cloud.....I don't mean to be mean, but proofread your posts.

I like that from what we know so far it looks like Luna is being proactive about getting ponies to like her. All the fics I've read Celestia practically has to drag her out of the castle to get her to mingle with other ponies.
I don't think much of Luna and don't read much fan stuff about her so when I see her on screen again I will have less reasons to complain.

Because Lauren Faust knows how to gather talented people?
I have a slight preference toward trickster!Luna (even though I'm currently writing a cold, pragmatic Luna in my fic >.>), but in the end I don't really care what they decided for her as long as she's distinct from the other ponies.
