One idea, if we would make a seperate thread would be that we would have that one be more for ginger and we would tie them together with hyperlinks.
That's a bit more likely to be accepted by the mods.
Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.

They are people that rage far more then him, but either hide it better or are close enough to the moderation that they can skate. It seems hardly fair.

Crow: No. That's not how appealing works. If Ginger wants to be unbanned, he needs to talk to the mods privately.
L mage: Kindly provide an example? Also, if they can hide it better, why does it matter? In fact, that's a GOOD thing. If you can stifle your rage, you shouldn't be banned.

"Banned" is such a heavy word. It usually implies no chance of coming back, ever.
Often, the word "suspended" feels more appropriate.
Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am?
I've forgotten how to see. I've forgotten if I can.

@AHR
I will opt not to provide an example, mostly because I have no desire to feel the anger of the powers that be. I will say however that listening to people rant endless in an eloquent fashion, over and over again on the same topic, with the same furious and insulting tone, is just as bad as normal raging.
And perhaps I am, but in general I've become disgruntled with the moderation of late

It's a ban because it won't ever be lifted unless the person requests the ban to be lifted. That's the point. You go to mods and say "yo, see what I did wrong, won't do it again."
And then they lift it, unless this is your 3rd or so time being banned.
L Mage: Wonderful. If someone annoys you, report them. Seriously. People always get annoyed by this, but never do anything about it, expecting the magical mods to just KNOW this. The worst case that happens is if they are not doing something bannable, but now he's on the mod's watch list.

if Ginger wants to appeal his ban, he needs to be the one to PM the mod that banned him. :/
I expect that he already has.

Honestly, I think the only reason this didn't happen earlier is because the thread as a whole is so tolerant of his outbursts and didn't report him. I really hopes he comes back, but I understand why it happened.
Also several posters have pmed various mods on his behalf. The appeal is in process.

So what else can we talk about? How about Daring Do?

Still talking about Ginger, I see. Well, I guess it's better than pony bust sizes. But as it stands It's a bit pointless to worry about his ultimate fate when we have no way of effecting the outcome, isn't it? Though to be honest, I hope he is shown leniency.

Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.
