I'm assuming it's not free, though, so payment would have to go through my parents in some form and I'm pretty sure my parents would shoot down wanting to talk to someone they don't know through Skype.

I don't trust Skype. But I could always try to set soemthing up myself if we really need to.

Ive offered to throw a forum on my website. I know I can get to it from work here, anywhere else and I might be blocked by the firewall software they have.

@Crowlover: Skype is free unless you want to use video chat. I use it all the time for Starcraft.

Well, I was going to tell ginger how much I enjoyed Sherlock, but it looks like he's in some dire straits right now.
@story Ix-nay on the ace-spay vaders-inay. The reveal is so awesome, and I don't want to spoil it.

Actually, Skype is free even IF you want to use video chat with another skype user. It's when you use it to call phones that there's a cost.

I honestly wouldn't mind moving to a new thread. I mean we are already kind of a sepreate sub-community down here, why not make our own forum?
The real problem is keeping it in sync with this thread. If we don't will cut off all potential new and returning posters and the community will slowly die.

Based on the mods comments, that doesn't sound likely though.

This oughta lighten the mood.

I'd also prefer a forum to Skype mainly because I barely ever use skype. Even then, I don't want to neglect this thread either; it wouldn't be fair to new posters.
