On the subject of deep, manly voices:

@Pannic Shame, I thought his voice was meant to be high, since I thought his dialogue was meant to sound camp XD

Baritones can be camp. Tim Curry, for example.

Baritone has a wide, wide range(So much so that there are subcategories, I believe). so it's possible he's an upper baritone, which would be on the high side of average at least.

His speech is VERY fast.

He got on my nerves after a while since his dialogue goes on for SO long

Sorry I was gone for a few pages, had to play Minecraft.

Anyway, Tintin is one of my all time favorite movies. Tintin comics are amazing, the animation was spectacular, and the end fight was the best in recent memory. So Sherlock Holmes had better be miraculous to top it.

Okay, this is just awesome. I used to be able to sing almost that low, but never anywhere near that quality. [awesome]

@Sky Why would ANYONE take my advice? sad

What I like and consider good is far too different from most people

It's like the one bass thing in choral music that I can't do...

@Ginger:Because you're extremely hard to please. Therefore, if you actually like something, it's probably something special.

@ginger Sorry I took your opinion as a valid one.

You ever get to sing this Pannic? It's pretty much the only thing I've ever gotten to do that actually taxed my lower range. And it was loads of fun. Unfortunately the bass part didn't come through on the recording we did of it. sad

A Complete Monster tends to be hated because they are usually flat villains with no real personality or role outside being irredeemably evil and loathsome. The Joker is a conditional example because a lot of versions of him are monsterous but still have lots of humor and charisma that may prevent him from being a straight example.

It's hard to really pinpoint a Complete Monster, especially since people tend to label it to any over the top nasty character (eg. the Mr Krabs example) but I believe a Complete Monster is meant to have no other audience value than disgust and horror. They can't be funny, charming or even remotely complex.

@Blue Not really, you disagreed with me on most things about Snow White

Funnily enough I've sung very little Eric Whitacre. What's the lowest note in the bass part of that piece? My lowest note is a C, which came in mighty handy with the Bogoroditse from the Vespers (probably the only part of that thing I can sing satisfactorily as it only goes down to a C and not, like, a B-flat).

@ Pannic: I think it was the A below the clef. I was only just able to hit it and had no volume at all. I remember it was three lines down, but not what the key was.

@ginger Have you played Icarus again? What'd you think of Thanatos?

@Blue And that's what I mean. Don't value my opinion if no one ever agrees with me. Whenever someone likes something that I like, it's never for the reasons I liked it

A below the bass clef? No way I could sing that unless I had something like the worst cold ever.

@Sky No. Dammit. It ain't for lack of interest, I just... I want to listen to music, but I also want to listen to the game, I also wouldn't be able to keep up with this thread if I played the game
