@Crowlover: I must not understand the context of the sentence your referencing.

Unless AJ said the question while they were at the dragon gathering (which she couldn't have, because she wasn't there, right?) then I don't see how it matters. If she said it back in Ponyville, well, we already knew they were in Equetria. And I don't see how she could possibly known if they were going to be leaving Equestria or not, noone knew exactly where the dragon migration was going.

Yeah, Pony Divine Comedy would be full of Cool and Unusual Punishment. Like instead of being herded into boiling blood by centaurs, the ponies would be sitting in water forced to listen to seapony songs.

And it's from Dragonshy. It's the first sentence we hear in Twilight's house.

Then Twilight says that the dragon is sleeping.

No, there are plenty of small countries. There's one between France and Spain I believe that's only a few miles across. And back in medieval times (which MLP certainly draws inspiration from) it was not at all unusual for a "country" to be a handful of villages surrounding a single castle. We really have no clue how big Equestria is, except for when it was shown on that map. If the map was to scale (I doubt it was) then Equestria would be quite small, because it showed quite a bit of distance between Canterlot and Ponyville (which are visible from each other) and not much else on the map.

Also, since you mentioned it, Westeros is explicitly unrealistically huge for a feudal country. It's actually about the size of South America.

@Bluespade That map didn't show LOADS of prominent cities in Equestria.

I know you can justify all of it, but since we have no evidence one way or the other, it all comes down to what you believe is more logical.

@Ginger: I already said I didn't think the map was to scale. I know it comes down to which you'd rather believe, I was just trying to see if anyone was aware of any actual evidence that points to one way or the other. Which looks like there isn't any.
