Oh, hey, I just remembered! Do any of you read the newspaper comic
Pearls Before Swine? I find myself liking it, despite its dark, cynical tone. Rat is a
Jerkass extraordinaire, and Pig is the sweet, naive one who keeps the strip from becoming
too dark. Then you have Goat, the intellectual who feels that he's surrounded by idiots, and Zebra, the activist who tries to improve relations between his zebra herd and the predators of Africa. Take a wild guess how well his efforts turn out.
Here's a little something that I consider
Hilarious in Hindsight: in one set of episodes, Rat tries to get elected as mayor. What's his platform? To fight against deadly rainbows. Pig tries to point out that rainbows aren't deadly, but Rat says that Pig is soft on rainbows. Rat shows as proof a silly stick figure drawing of someone getting crushed by an evil laughing rainbow. Perhaps Rat watches
My Little Pony when no one else is around?
