My parents found out about me being a brony thanks to my sister watching the show and because of a couple other things that I can't remember. Fortunatly, they were quite accepting of it, and my dad already found out about brony's thanks to watching the "Know your meme" episode focusing on brony's and mlp fim.

My parents found out about me being a fan of the show by walking in while I was watching it on the computer. Or was it when I asked if I could use the television and put the show on. I dunno.

Well my brother seems to be sort of fascinated with the fandom. He mentions it every now and then and was spending some time reading the trope page for the show here. Of course as of now the reason for his fascination is along the lines of "what is wrong with these people?" Of course he's friends with Latenite here, and knows he's a brony, which he doesn't seem to mind at all.

Higurashi actually does have a very compelling story. I had tons of fun trying to fit all the pieces together.

My parents found out I was a brony when I sent them Rarity's 'this is whining' clip because my mum was talking about how the people in her office complain about her bitching when she tells them to do their jobs. They found it quite funny.

As for the 'thing to you left is your cutie mark' deal, there's a LOT of stuff to my left, including: A stack of business cards(none mine), a screwdriver, several pens and pencils, a bag of chips, and two posters.

I started watching Higurashi, was vaguely intrigued by the 1st episode. The 2nd and 3rd episodes bored me out of my mind, to the point where I just opened another tab and paid only slight attention to the show. The 4th episode, where the protagonist spirals down into a paranoid nightmare until he snaps and murders the girls he thinks are tormenting him, was actually pretty good. Then they hit the reset button, and the next 4 episodes went back to being about as fun as watching paint dry. I gave up after that.

Elfen Lied had some really good concepts but was also terrible in a lot of ways and made me feel really slimy for watching it.

Because it's bad.

Oh, Sleepaway Camp? Yeah, it's pretty creepy. especially with the face/mask at the end. That expression is just so uncanny.

Elfen Lied handles it tone rather poorly and everyone in it is just so profoundly damaged, it's hard to really rot for anyone. The excessive gore/violence is also a major turn off.

Ok, shilling my boyfriend's Pony video site one last time before I head out to work.

Make a user account, submit videos, vote, comment, etc etc... he wants to make sure everything is working ok for all types of browser software. Basically a beta test of what he has done before he progresses further.

Please submit any comments or feedback through the site so he can see it... there is a contact button on the bar at the top of the page. I wont be able to post him feedback from this thread at work and it'll just get lost.

The only thing of Higurashi I've seen is an abridged series my friend made of it. Which is actually kinda funny, mostly because he gives the main character such nonplussed reactions to all the crazy shit that's going down.
