It would be nice if the elements liberated the pony soul powering it from the thing.

Maybe it's a cycle. The mass gets sent back into the land of dreams by the elements. At some point some pony falls into the realm itself and ends up powering it, then the thing escapes again.

Only it gets stronger each time due to all the fear that it keeps accumulating over the millenia

I'd prefer a conclusive victory though. The Mane Six haven't had enough of those.

@Bad I wouldn't call it an actual land. More like the sort of place you just END up in should you give in to despair.

They could conclusively destroy the hostile sapience in the mass. So it'll never try to take another pony again

Though, as I said, the thing doesn't have a physical presense in Equestria initially. It needs to gather FEAR first

@ Ginger: So, Luna would have been to this land? I imagine she gave into despair just before the whole Nightmare Moon thing.

@ Story: You know what I mean. Discord's right back where he broke out of, Chrysalis is thrown off to a random forest and even Nightmare Moon depends on Luna staying good.

Well it wouldnt attract the physical being.. Her Emo would attract its essence, maybe give it enough strength to manifest in the dreams, and Im sure it would find Ponyville ripe for the picking, so many happy ponies whose dreams it could shatter and feed on the fear generated... then it would slowly gain strength...

Ah. I never liked Iris so when I found out I didn't really care. But she does have an Aggron, so I guess that's cool. Also, her champion battle field is pretty cool if the music weren't pretty boring

The fact there's a Zoroark who disguses itself as a trainer, gives you a TM and then runs off revealing its disguised amused me though

@Bad Probably. It could even go to possess her, letting her look inside the mass to see all the fear and hatred that ponies feel towards the night and the things within it.

Then she powers away from it in a rage and becomes Nightmare Moon. Ending up back in Equestria

Hulk with a lightsaber is all that popped to mind.

Also, I think the fact that I like Drayden better and the anime probably affect how much I like her.

Also, the Psychic E4 room in BW 2 looks amazing. Wow.

@ Ginger: Gives into despair about ponies not liking the night, stumbles into fear monster which makes her more fearful about ponies hating the night (the fear has been doubled), instead of being a vessel for the fear monster though she blasts it away and makes her own vengeance. Right? If so it made sense to me.
