My first ship in this fandom was Spike/Fluttershy. But I like Spike/Rarity and Spike/Twilight as well. As well as Fluttershy/Rarity. And Big Mac/Twilight. And Cheerilee/Big Mac. (I support a ot of contradictory ships.)

Same here. My two favorite ships are Twilight/Applejack and Applejack/Rarity. I'm pretty sure I've rambled enough on how I look at shipping.

I third the motion. I will simultaneously ship Twilight with Pinkie Pie and Dash, Big Mac with Pinkie and Caramel, Braeburn with Promontory and Soarin... and that's just the beginning.

Exclusive ships are boring anyways, you lose out on so many interesting possible dynamics.

in fact I think the ONLY exclusive couple I have is Hoops and Dumbbell, and even then it's blog 'canon' that Dumbbell once dated Dash in highschool.

I support the theory that there are no bad ships. Only bad writing. I support ships not for the ships themselves but for the quality of writing/art that portrays them. Pinkie-Shy is damn cute for example.

I support a lot of contradictory ships too. Twidash, Twipie, Pinkiedash, Flutterpie, Appletwi, Rarijack, Twilight/Rarity, Appledash, Flutterdash, and Twishy. There's probably more too.

@Pannic Twixie just means that the writer has to come up with a reason for why the ship occured in the first place. He would have to write more interactions between them before the ship can actually float.

I still don't get why Twixie is so popular. I just don't see them as having that many interesting interactions when compared to other possibilities. Like Trixie/Iron Will.

Yeah, it taught me that love potions are bad. Having the relationship develop on its own with no outside interference, however...

I admit that was surprised to learn of the popularity of Fluttermac, considering that they'd never been on screen together at the time. But I thought, "Okay, I suppose it's a decent ship." I just think that it seems like a rather quiet relationship.

Early season 2 made me realy like Twimac though. Especially as I interpret those two as the two smartest ponies in Ponyville.

You know a ship I would like to see more of? Rarity/Trixe. I can just imagine the interactions that would come from that. It's still better then Twixe and Sonic/RD at least.
