Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! And yes, I do have a DS Lite, I was just using it to play my Japanese Pokemon White. I'm quite aware of the regional differences with games and would not have even considered buying it if I didn't have a system it would work on. (I also have a 3DS and have noticed that my Japanese games don't work on it, but I still can use it for trading with myself if I put the English version in the 3DS and put the Japanese version in the regular DS)

Isn't it funny how Diamond Tiara has a...diamond tiara as her Cutie Mark, and she wears one on top of her head? I'm tempted to think that was intended as a gag, but she is hard as diamond and she does seem to think of herself as a little princess...or should it be queen?
From what I've noticed, that tiara never comes off of her head. Ever. Do you suppose that if she lost her tiara, she would experience Cutie Mark Failure Insanity Syndrome? I bet she would be terrifying if she got CMFIS!

Well, I'd personally guess she'd become less of a jerk if that happened. But it would happen in a way that would make us all feel sorry for her.
I'd guess her special talent is being on top. Silver Spoon seems to be the one with less of a clear talent. Unless it involves something culinary...

You know, I've been wondering, Just how many bronies are there? I've seen estimates around 5-7 million, but I'm not sure it is that big. Its always hard to tell size from within a fandom. Anyone have any ideas?

Eh, I'm still more for seeing the crown as a symbol of power rather than something she makes.
And it does seem more like she's at least somewhat good at leading, though she should learn to do it without belittling people.

i'll admit that I always sort of liked imagining SS's mark as meaning that she was good at service and doting - like, she would grow up to be a butler or the chief of staff of some rich household, or the like.
I have to imagine having leadership as a special talent tends to breed some degree of egotism, at least in early life. Hopefully she grows out of it.
