@Ginger: The N64 controller was made for 3-handed people [lol] and the US "Duke" X-Box controller was made for gigantic meathands [lol]

See, I've heard that but I actually find the 360 to feel much more natural.

It's what you're used to, I guess. [up] Or that. I do have big hands.

The D-pad was useless for most N64 games! And the analog stick was prone to getting disjointed.

I really don't know what the big deal was with the n64 controller. I mean, you only needed hands on two of the spokes at any one time.
XP granted for befriending a giant magical spider!

and it was really hard to use the analogue stick and the left shoulder buttons at the same time [lol]

Honestly the Gamecube controller was what the N64 Controller wished it could be. Also the X-Box controllers mimicked it's D-pad/left analog layout.

Seriously though, the Neo Geo has the best controller, a honkin' full-scale arcade stick :D

That's why Super Smash Bros Devs where smart and utilized the right button.

the gamecube controller IS pretty sweet.

The jaguar one was just terrible

by far the worst controller ever will always be the original US X-Box controller.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool. My random thoughts

Nah, the worst controller might well be the original prototype controller for what could have become the original Magnavox Odyssey.

What about the original PS3 Boomerang controller? That one was just silly.

I hate to say, but every game control is pretty bad.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

@Orion How do you even use them?! XD

@Lurker: I'm at the third level of the first uhhh chapter, I guess, in Marathon. Collect circuit chips for Leela.

Well I guess I'm doing relatively well. Wizard aliens (shoot lightning balls) are the only ones I sometimes have problems. Pistol is my friend. And the music got weirdly upbeat...

@Gigner: Wings mostly. Though that doesn't help a lot. I have yet to find a controller that is made for wings.

@Orion Feel sorry for E Ps sad They don't even have THAT!

Maybe they could create a controller that's mouth controlled

Ohhh, the original Xbox controller... the behemoth.

Anyway, I've done some writing in my Fallout Equestria thing (that is an actual story and not more bitching), if anyone's interested in taking a look.

@Freeman The music in Marathon 1 really is great. 2 and Infinity do away with the music for the most part, though, mostly for atmospheric reasons.

This is probably the music you're hearing at the moment:

I don't suppose it'll have any villains, Pannic? XD

I use an Xbox 360 controller to play Sonic Generations on my PC. I'm a Wii owner right now, looking forward to the Wii U. DAT TOUCH SCREEN
