I haven't really had problems with trackpads once I got used to them.

Thing is, I hate sitting still while using my laptop. (I'm pacing right now)

So using a USB mouse is kinda not feesible

I have a MacBook, which has the best trackpad known to man. Customizable gestures are the bomb. I'd never want to play any games on it, though.

Well, I personally find them really awkward to use. It's not what I'm use to, so it feels very bizarre for me. And it gives my hand a cramp after a while.

From what I understand, Macs are geared towards people who don't like fixing computers. With a PC, if something breaks, you can usually buy a replacement part and keep it running. With Macs, you have to buy a whole new computer. Also, Apple users seem to shove the products in your face.

@Sky Good thing they rarely break. And you can get replacement parts for them. Their design isn't conducive to opening them up and finding out exactly what the problem is in the first place, if you're not a professional, though.

Using a Mac is about the combination of sleek, standardized and optimized hardware with a very customizable and user-friendly UI.

Touchpads are adequate for most purposes, unless you're trying to game with them. Although I do prefer a good trackball, even for general-purpose use.

@Chada I've been trying to learn how to meditate to help keep myself calmer.
