So, I was kind of upset with RD for how she treated her potential pets. But I got over it. After all, somepony has to put the "harm" in "harmony".

Of course, she's better now. I heard that she got a second pet. She named him "Helicopter" and equipped him with armour plating and artillery.

SO th Cutie Mark Crusaders find an old lamp. Scootaloo suggests tat they blast it out of a cannon and Sweetie Belle suggests that they hock it, but Applebloom suggests that they should try rubbing it and maybe they'll get cutie maks for lamp cleaning. Anyway, they give it a try and a genie pops out. He says that he'll give them each one wish. So Scootaloo says, "I wish that I was flying with Rainbow Dash right now!" With a poof, she's swept off and she's indeed flying with Rainbow Dash.

Sweetie Belle says, "I'd like to be helping my sister make her outfits! Actually helping instead of getting in the way!" And so she's whisked off and is indeed being useful for once.

Finally, the genie asks what Applebloom wants and she says, "Ah'm kinda lonely now, so Ah wish that mah friends were back here with me!"

That's a good one.

I have seen a variation on that one before. But its a good port.

But seriously, what's the deal with Rarity? Why does her magic deal with finding gems, when in Equestria they're so common?

Those are common but not that easy to find.

As far as I can tell, gems come in large single deposits over a wider area. So it's not everywhere. This just makes it easier probably.

I imagine like in minecraft that gems may be common but finding them underground is a whole nother issue without massive amounts of strip mining. Rarities spell may not be necessary but it is one hell of a time saver.

Look Ace, just stick with same 2 episodes per week. Air them during the weekday once, then on Saturday. That way we can watch them without most of having to miss episodes.
