So, in a couple months I'm planning to audition for Assassins, which is totally the best musical ever. Today at my voice lessons I went over two songs I could potentially use for the audition - Unworthy of Your Love, which is sung by Hinkley, the guy who tried to assassinate president Reagan, and The Ballad of Booth, sung by John Wilkes Booth, the man who killed president Lincoln.

It's kind of odd, because I think Hinckley is the role I've got the best shot at - he isn't exactly a heavy acting role, as he doesn't have a whole lot of lines outside of his one scene where he sings his song, and the main focus is that he just has to have a very pretty voice, whereas Booth is pretty much the lead and needs to cover a big dramatic range and be charismatic and stuff. I am not an experienced actor, to presume I even qualify as an actor at all. And hey, I'm a foreveralone loser, Hinckley's a foreveralone loser, it's a match. In addition, Unworthy Of Your Love is a song I've sung before in performance.

But on the other hand, The Ballad of Booth is probably a generally better audition piece - it's dramatic and covers a two-octave range, making it a better "show off" piece. In addition, my voice teacher that it'd probably be a better piece to use.

Anyway, I'm gonna try to finish a chapter of my fanfic tonight.

Oh, and pagetopper, sure.

@ginger I was on the fence about Stark. On one hand, he was the comic relief, so he had most of the funny lines. On the other hand, he was a massive douchenozzle.

Aww, but that's what I like about Stark! I mean, as a character. I wouldn't be his friend in real life, but he wouldn't be Tony Stark without that bit of cockiness.

@Kyler He didn't have any moments where someone got him to shut up though. (or rather, LOKI didn't)

The only way I can handle cocky heroes is if the villain gets them to shut up at some point.

I was so, SO pissed when Loki's mind control didn't work on Stark sad

@Chad I don't much about games, I can judge from what I saw in show and what I saw is wrong.

And explanation "They want fight" just raise more questions.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

I thought it was hilarious that Tony had a barrier of inorganic matter saving him from mind control. And the "Performance issues" joke was definitely great.

@ginger Even though I went to a small screening (only 2 or 3 other groups in there), everyone laughed at every line of Stark's dialogue. It made me almost not enjoy the film.

One thing that bothered me: why can't Loki tap him somewhere else? His sternum isn't anywhere near his heart anyway.

@Sky Oh, the crowd at my cinema pissed me off. ESPECIALLY their reactions to the hulk. I almost wanted to hulk out myself and punch the fuck out of everyone there [lol]

@ginger How'd they react?

During that montage where everyone was suiting up (before landing in NYC), I wanted them to add a shot of Banner putting on his pants. Would've been hilarious.

@Death Cloud The professor in the 4th gen games goes into rant about it concerning evolution.

Do the seek to evolve to become complete as being? What of the Pokemon who do not evolve? Such as Legendary Pokemon? Does that mean they are complete as beings?

@Blue Problem, I am trying to watch a film and ignore the parts I don't like... kinda hard to do when the audience is punctuating all the parts I detested with hysterical laughter.

Especially with Stark, because the ensuing laughter would drown out what the characters I actually cared about were saying [lol]
