@ginger: I looked it up, and he did, over 250 episodes in.

Also: Given that she was in or around the same grade as Cheerilee, whatever designs Rarity may have made during later grades must have been interesting.

I wonder if Rarity considers the Pony!80's a fashion black hole [lol]

Aha, so Rarity is to blame for those ridiculous fashions Cheerilee was wearing.

Ginger likes the Pokemon anime, with THOSE villains?!?!?!

I remember the anime being very kiddy (it's 4Kids what do you expect?) and the heroes seemed to get blander and goody goody in favor of making Team Rocket more likeable.

Hello,

@Apple Just saying I sympathize with your anger. Don't let those pester and fester ok? They consume you over time.

Did I ever say I liked it? No.

I watched and liked it in the past, before TTGL, and I still enjoy it thanks to nostalgia, but I wouldn't like it if it was new nowadays and I never saw it as a kid

Hey. I thought Pokémon: The First Movie was the shit when it came out (I was 10). I refuse to watch it nowadays for nostalgia preservation purposes

I'd probably still like the first Pokemon movie if I saw it now.

[up][up]Watch the Origin of Mewtwo and the movie becomes much, much better.

I.. actually follow the show(Have cripes about it, but meh), and still love the movies.

Pokemon didnt show up until I was around 16 or 17, so I never got to see it through the eyes of a child. I watchd it for a while but it was just too cutesy and almost embarassing to be caught watching.

I wouldnt be embarassed if I got caught watching MLP though.

I watched a bit of the most recent series of the Pokemon anime recently, and Team Rocket being competent was quite amazing. Unfortunately, they somehow managed to undo 15 years of character development and have Ash be really dumb. Not worth it.

[up][up]Yeah, the lack of any forward momentum for the characters is what made me stop watching. Also Misty left, and I don't approve of that.

I found it hard to swallow that there were all these new types of pokemon constantly poping up.

I watched to Jhoto, then stopped

Screw it, here it is. They deemed it too dark and cut it from the English film.

This isn't the incredibly stupid part. The stupid part is that we decided to include a letter to our friend from himself. From the future, in which he's a Future Badass. It started as a few pieces of random advice and an explanation of the stuff we sent with him, but it quickly snowballed into...this. Keep in mind we were both horribly sleep-deprived and in one of those states where literally anything is hilarious. And yes, we stayed up until 2 in the morning writing that.

You should have gotten something simple and cryptic. Like "Sorry I can't explain, but when the time comes, you'll know how to use these. - Future You

@Ginger It's too bad that you don't care for the gameplay in the games, because Black/White has really good villains.

@Ginger At least for the most part, you're able to brute force/cheese your way through them without much strategy, so long as you don't skip fights/experience. Or revive spam. Revive spam usually works too, in the end game.

I gotta say, though, having this as the theme for the final battle was just awesome:
