Yeah, the first two episodes are good at introducing the characters and setting, but I don't think it really hit it's stride until the more character-interaction based episodes picked up. Although that might just be a personal quirk.

@Tony: a catalyst, huh. I guess I'm too used to working with a hydrogen-based fusion engine. I always liked your suitcase armor, although I believe it sacrifices too much of a protective profile for what it does.

The pilot is a bit of a Non-Indicative First Episode due to the more action oriented setup, but it does set things up well for the cast, there is a bit to make you like every single character which I think is ideal for an opener. The rest of the series does develop things a lot more though.

Granted I didn't watch the episodes in order either.

Actually there was another twitter posting. Apparently the people storyboarding the show promise minds being blown. But that's just base Hype.
