What platforms does Persona 4 run on?
Would you recommend playing one of the previous games first (either because stuff won't make sense otherwise, or because it's just that good)?

It's a PS2 game. None of the previous games are needed to understand it, its pretty self contained, but 3 is pretty good, it set a lot of systems in place that 4 eventually used. Both are worth playing, but 4 is the better of the two, since it was able to refine some of the stuff that was a bit awkward in 3. I also think it has a better story, but that's more debatable.

Also, Apple Pie isn't even good in the first place. How the heck are you even supposed to slice something like that without all the filling coming out?

@ginger I don't know, they'd probably need to move their stuff around for that.

I'd guess more that if you want certain weather on a certain day, you work with the weather scheduele rather than altering the schedule itself.

I imagine the Farmers and the Weather Patrol work fairly closely together.

And if you ask in advance they might be able to accommodate you. Like if you want a rainbow for Hearts and Hooves Day. That the CMC steal.

It wouldn't surprise me if some weather patrols did things like that, having rain in different parts of the settlement on different days, but I don't see Ponyville working out like that.

@ Ginger: Rainbow can make it rain over the town but have it be perfectly sunny on Twilight. I'm sure they can manage different weather for different parts of town.

@ Crow: Could be any. And I imagined they complained. Rainbow gets no rest on Hearts and Hooves Day.

Possibly for different crops. Say one needs a lot of rain but that would be harmful to another nearby crop. Other than that there wouldn't be much reason I could see.

@ginger I'm not sure if pony settlements would do that when they're as large as Ponyville, but larger settlements would likely do that with the weather so the appropriate places get rain when they need it.

Or, they could have it be a draw, where certain neighborhoods get one type of weather more than others.

Or if you paid enough money you could isolate a certain type of weather around your home at all times.
