I'll do this for a few people in my family:

My brother would become best friends with Cadence.

My mother would party with Spitfire.

My father would party with Applejack.

And Grandparents would be handcuffed for life to Applebloom and Soarin'.

@Lurker but it's gotten to the point where I pretty much like what he does any time he's NOT dealing with the mane cast.

@Turtle It's just that it's really stressful when the primary antagonist of the work is the only charcter I have a problem with.

Insane, Indestructible Healing Factor Twist? Fine

Characters who are half Cockatrice and half pony? Fair enough

Terminator Pony who uses the C word a lot? Awesome.

It's just... frustrating

Like I said, its only a story. It was written by a person, people arent perfect. You just have to chill and remember that... like maybe stop reading and count to 10 or something when you start to get really frustrated with a character.

Here's a thought: There are more than 19 million people married to Rarity. Half of them are ladies.

Also, more than 19 million people handcuffed for life to Fluttershy.

And Lyra has more than 19 million human best friends.

@Turtle I know it's only a story, but it's still pretty frustrating when he's pretty much my only problem with it.

It ain't even anger I feel while I'm reading... just a cascade of apathy that ruins my good mood

The other thing I would suggest Ginger... is to check out some autism community sites and see if anyone there has ways to help you cope.

http://www.wrongplanet.net/ is a good one to check. You might find people who share your quirks and they may have coping mechanisms that you could use.

My quirks are mostly social and procedural. I get REALLY stresed when people dont follow a procedure, to the point of wanting to hurt them for not doing it right. I have my own mechanisms that I have learned to deal with that stress... but since my stresses arent similar to yours then I cant make suggestions that'd work for you.

And dont take this as an insult. Im borderline Aspie myself and reading about other people with quirks and how they deal with them helped me deal with my own a LOT. I was about to LOSE my job because of my problems... and reading and sharing with people like myself helped me calm down a TON and saved me from getting fired.
