It may be a bit much, but if we don't slow down much, I'm expecting us to be put in the 275K range by the first episode of Season 3.

Well, this might make up for that second-to-last image I posted quite a few pages back. Nothing that could disturb anyone here.

Ponies reading comics made me think of Rarity reading the Archie comics, which are the main romance-oriented comics I could think of. Would she like Veronica, or think that Veronica is too snobby and not like seeing her own flaws thrown back at her in a character?

Rainbow Dash might like the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, too, as well as other speedy superheroes such as the Flash. Also, for Pinkie, there are Looney Tunes comics out there too, she'd probably like that more than mysteries, which probably aren't as comedic as she would prefer (although Pinkie would probably find them funny anyway, for reasons the writers didn't intend, like if a character was drawn in a weird way or something).

Archie...Isn't that the comic that's been going on for about eleven thousand years and nobody over the age of five reads anymore?

How would a non-Unicorn turn a comic book page?

...I used to read Archie in the papers back when I actually got the papers.

But I read literally every comic in the papers, regardless of actual quality. So there's that.

But I do have to give props to Archie for having a gay marriage, and basically giving the finger to a stupid radical group that protested it.

[up]And somehow neither of the girls gets pissed that he simultaneously dates both of them. They make a big point about who he's going to 'choose', but at this point he could basically just turn it into a mormon marriage.

Now we need to make this page's posts a palindrome.

Anyone remember the last time we went through this? I wonder if I should start posting in palindromes again.

Would Rainbow Dash like Looney Tunes too? I could see her really liking Speedy Gonzalez, at least, and probably the ones that have stories about pranksters in them, like the early Bugs Bunny cartoons where he was more of a wacky troublemaker.

I never knew Archie was a newspaper comic. I've only found it in comic books. Maybe it was also a newspaper comic in some other places other than where I live?

I thought of something about ponies and comics, what if the Friendship is Magic ponies found the old UK My Little Pony comics that were about the G1 ponies? Those were the ones that had Applejack being really clumsy, if I remember correctly.

I wonder if there are people who regularly read the thread and have never posted. I lurked for a few days before posting after I initially caught up with the show.

Given the number of new posters who say that they lurked for a while, I'd say yes.

... wasn't there a comic where the TMNT teamed up with Archie? I swear Linkara reviewed it ages ago

No it's not a newspaper comic, at least nit originally. An Archie book looks like this. It's the same organization that publishes Sabrina comics and the Sonic the Hedgehog comics.

Anyone up for turning all the lights on to see if we can uncover any lurkers?

All you need is a unit with True Seeing or the Beholder spell.
