I had an idea similar to this premise before. Pinkie falls for a rock star and becomes his girl, but when he asks her to come on tour, she has to decline, because she can't leave her friends behind.

Any of that any use to you?

By the way, part of my issue with the Lyra brushable is not necessarily its availability within my hometown (I could understand if they were only released in bigger cities or something) and more that I've gotten conflicting information online not only about its availability in stores, but also the release date of it and the others in the doll set (Trixie, Cherry Berry, etc.).

One of the Monty Python sketches I always liked was the one about "Self-Defense Against Fresh Fruit" which I could see fitting into the MLP universe easily, although they probably wouldn't do the part where the instructor just shoots the people in the class with a gun. We've definitely seen fruit (or fruit products such as apple pies) used in combat situations in the series.

Personally, my favorite memetic old-timey villain is Dan Backslide. He brought us such great memes as "Confound these _____, they drive me to drink!" and "I'll ______, NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW!"

He's hilarious.

@Applelight: Yeah, that's actually pretty much how I was planning on ending it, actually. He's glad to finally meet a pony who can actually keep up with his partying ways, regardless of whether she's fat or not, but she decides that she can't leave her friends over that.

That seems like an odd way to end it. Pinkie makes friends with everyone she can have friends everywhere she goes, why would she turn down romance for the sake of a few friends she'll still be able to go back and see?

Btw, Operation Puppy Rescue is a failure so far, I am enlisting additional aid.

Even though it's spun into this, I still kind of want to see the original Applelight Crack Fic we thought of as well.

I might allude to it, but I suck at writing anything that rhymes, so if he does write a song about her I don't know if it'll actually appear. He'll probably insinuate that he plans to write a song about her, though.
