I always wanted to write a Unicorn Tournament story with alternating protagonists of Twilight and Trixie, both of them would have good reasons to want to win. Trixie would be outmatched by most of her opponents but uses precision and tricks to good effect to win. Twilight would use big magic to out muscle her opponents and her wide array of spells to out manoeuvre them.

@ Caveman: Yes, yes she is. In a brief description she wants to burn everything.

@Bad If Trixie was the only protagonist in such a fic, then Twi's matches would make for a good sort of Mook Horror Show

I think I'd write it so that outside of the final round between each other I'd never show a fight from the point of view of the fighter. So yeah that'd work.

@Applelight: Wow, I uh, I really wasn't expecting that. I honestly don't know how quick I'd be able to get it done, given that I'm going to be leaving for another week tomorrow.

I might be able to write it during that time, but I have no idea what my schedule is going to be like. How long would you want it to be?

Adventure Time's setting is surreal enough that I don't even think that would count. It's not saccharine, exactly, but it's not grimdark either. I think we're going for something more like an Incompetent Sympathetic Villain in a series like Berserk.

I couldn't ask you to write an epic novel or anything.

I guess something with around...I don't know...at least a few chapters or so? Within the next month. Just enough to actually get a story out of it.

The closest I can think of are minor villains like Riruka in Bleach who have a cutsey theme to them (my example here fought by trapping opponents in the bodies of stuffed animals, making them extremely weak). They're almost never the Big Bad, though.

After re watching Alien and Aliens (finally I watched it in full ENG version, and Director Cut) I'm now in mood for Pony/Alien crossover.

Hmm last episode open such possibilities.

I'm imagining some Royal Guard going "Game Over Man! Game Over!" or some more punny version of that.

I even started calling Alien Queen by name Queen Chrysalis.

Ah, Adventure Time, one of the best cartoons shown, other than MLP of course. ^_^ Even if (or possibly because of) they killed their Radar Operator. Its the only children's show I can think of with blatant and intentional Les Yay.

Adventure Time is rated PG, though. They're allowed to get away with a lot more than a normal kid's show. Also, I must be dense, because I have no idea what Les Yay you're talking about.

That seems like something that would annoy you.
