Okay, I've searched around, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Does anyone know where I can hear that epic-sounding outro music from the latest episode? The network promos kinda cut it off.

From what I've seen of it, that PDP blog needs to go die in a fire.

I'm actually conflicted about that one (assuming you're referring to what I think you're referring to); on one hand, I'm not a fan of Cupcakes Pinkie at all. But that particular blog is drawn and written well enough that I actually kind of enjoy it. I think it helps that it's so different from canon Pinkie that I can just sort of consider it it's own thing that's barely related to MLP.

I like this Ask Octavia, because she's writing from The Vinyl Scratch Tapes continuity. Ask Pinkamina isn't... well, I don't really know how I feel about it. It's absolutely divorced from any fanon I even want to consider, which makes it easier to like it for the artistic quality and dark, dark humor.

Yeah, PDP is uber dark and I don't want it even coming close to canon, but taken on it's own, it's actually fairly good quality. Unlike Sweetie Poo, which is just immature and gross.

And yes, Flutterbitch is amazing.

@PDP: The art ranges from hideous to creepy. The character is irredeemably awful. And the situations are gruesome and should never have existed. The fact that its competently written just makes it worse, since someone with a measure of talent is spending their time on such a work.

And don't forget the people calling the latest page a tearjerker. Hey newsflash Pinkie! If you really want your friends to forgive you, then maybe you shouldn't be murdering them.

I liked Aks Pinkamena blog but now I stopped.

It's a major YMMV thing, I guess. I find it tolerable because while it's really dark, it isn't pointlessly gory like Cupcakes was. The author actually puts some time into trying to round out the characters rather than going for pure shock value. The reason people consider it a tear jerker is because it demonstrates that the character is miserable, and that the reason for that is her own self-destructive psychosis. She could redeem herself, but doesn't because she doesn't think she's worth it. But since some people don't like talking about it, I'll leave it at that.

Anyway, I'm hoping that they'll bring back some of the popular Season 1 characters. Not like the background ponies (though I hope they're still there), but characters like Trixie or Photo Finish.

If Trixie came back, they'd need to seriously overhaul her character in order to get rid of the bad memories from "the great and powerful Trixie" overuse.

I'm somewhat torn on the prospect of the antagonists from S2 making a return. On one hand, it'd be fun; I like a good redemption plot as much as the next guy. On the other, though, they'd have to change things up quite a lot between the three or four episodes it would take to get all of them back, otherwise all three would have pretty much identical plots. I also have my own reasons for not wanting a Gilda redemption episode (either soon or at all, I haven't decided yet) - it would overwrite Gryphon A Second Chance, namely.

On Evil Murderous Pinkie: Hate it. Hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it. In all forms. Completely runs contrary to the show in one of the worst possible ways and it saddens me that there are both people who waste their time to make it exist and people who continue to give it enough attention to give the people who make it in the first place justification to keep on making it.

I kinda wanna see a Neutraly Alligned character. Y'know, somepony who isn't evil, but isn't exactly good either. Gilda might be able to fill that role depending on how they decide to expand her character. If they want to at all.

But it probably won't happen since MLP seems to run on Black and White Morality

I just wanted to say that pretty much any Pinkie Pie related character meme comes from the much more pervasive, but not outwardly stated general thought (super-meme?) that you can have Pinkie Pie do anything or act however you want and not have it considered OOC. This kind of bugs me, but it really doesn't matter because the show really doesn't treat her as a full fledged character as much as she's Equestria's resident Looney Toon.
