Homestuck is just really YMMV in general, so statistically speaking, a large portion of any fanbase is going to hate it.

I defy you to find a substantial number of people who dislike Applejack. In allmy time here, I really haven't found more than maybe one.

To contrast, whenever the topic of Pinkie or Rarity are broached, the thread seems to blow up.

Yeah, AJ almost never tops the best pony lists, but no one ever dislikes her. She's too great for that.

The thing is though, I don't hate AJ at all, I just don't like her quite as much as the other mane 5. She's still an awesome pony, she just needs a bit more episodes focusing on her. Like I said, whenever she's just in a small role or a mere supporting role, she isn't very intreasting, and she's gotten the least amount of episodes to herself out of any of the mane cast.

Applejack would probably be among my favorite if her dialogue was written differently. In terms of actions and attitude, she's awesome.

The dislike I've seen for Rarity and Rainbow Dash just seems to stem from their personality flaws. Yes, how dare they not be perfect pony's who make no mistakes! Let's just have them be like the G.3 pony's! -_-

Although I will admit, in Sonic Rainboom, Rarity was pretty obnoxious, but otherwise I don't get the rest of the hate for her.

@Blissey I am on record as HATING musicals. MLP is something of an anomaly that I like any of the songs.

Homestuck is just really YMMV in general, so statistically speaking, a large portion of any fanbase is going to hate it.

This, pretty much. You tend to notice it a bit more than usual because they're pretty vehement with their dislike, but there's a surprising amount of cross between bronies/homestucks. Ponibooru has 50 pages of crossover art, after all.

HEY. The Flim Flam Brothers Song is amazing. Although a lot of the other songs are better.

I have a blind bag of Coconut Cream. She's definitely interestingly coloured.

I really like This Day Aria, but it's one of those songs that just doesn't have the same power when you hear it without the accompanying footage. Like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

Actually, I'd like to know, for any fellow Homestuck haters on this thread, what do you dislike about it? For me, the artstyle burns my eyes and there is nothing funny or remotely intreasting about the comic itself either.

Oh hey, Cool World. Would anyone actually recommend watching it? The only other Bakshi films I've seen are Heavy Metal, and American Pop. The latter of which was brilliant.
