@Steve That wasn't the aesop at all. The lesson in the letter at the end was actually directed at Gilda, in regards to controlling ones own behavior when your friend wants to split time between their other friends.
Pardon me, but I haven't really been keeping track, but what's this theoretical episode we're discussing? Ah, it seems to be similar to that Batman episode.
If I were to have an ideal episode, I'd like a Rashomon-esque tale, that could be quite interesting I'd think.

and death's my destination.
I want Steven Magnet to come back. He was fun.
@con What I mean is, If a film is truly bad, one should be able to articulate why without resorting to broad, sweeping terms like "It was lame"
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel

@Blue Oh, I thought you were talking about Pinkie being wrong about Gilda not being a nice person. There were multiple layers going on there, which is cool.
Blue: To be fair, that was also after Gilda forced Pinkie's flying machine to crash. That's kind of a red flag right there.
@Kuroi
... I was being condescending?

@ginger: I didn't think you were. I didn't like you accusing me of being a snob, though.
If I understand the current topic correctly, we're talking about the 'layers' of episode morals right?
Tealove is best pony.
Ask The Mane Six
Applelight: You might try Patch? Cool!

The whole thing with him not spending time with his son because he's training the other guy, that was... (sigh). I can't really explain what it is that makes something lame, I guess.
Hm.. Within reason, Apple. I don't want him to be too sacharine
