We won't dislike you for it, it's just that you should really think about what you're doing.

Ginger, you know its funny how we agree on a lot of things. Teenage Protagonists are 90% of the reason I can't stand western animation these days.

Got to be honest. It feels better when I watch a show with a character close to my own age.

I find it funny that in certain ways the Mane Six are considered adults in pony society which puts them in the 18-22 range in human society.

Sorry for mentioning this, Moe (since I know you don't care about the subject)

That's why I didn't like Azula as much as I thought I was going to. She was too young

I think everyone identifies most with someone their own age.

@ Steve "in certain ways" it's pretty clear they ARE adults, and Word Of God has said that emotionaly/mentaly they are equivalant to a 18-22 year old human...though no word on biological age.

Okay. Personal note: Don't say "Arr" that long again, unless I want to find myself dizzy and on my bum.

Well I think that's unusual.

Not all western animation features teenage protaganists! Timmy Turner is explicitly stated to be 10 and Spongebob Squarepants is somewhere mid twenties!

Speaking of Vampires - I really liked the ones in "The Strain" by Guillermo Del Toro, they got back to the evil nasty monster vampire roots. No romantic bloodsuckers there.

I prefer young protagonist and older in mentor role.

@Ginger - Have you seen 30 Days of Night? Those were some pretty cool vampires.

So, speaking of Pony ages how old are the CMC stated to be? I'd say 10 but they could be a bit older or younger.

@Ginger

You might like The Vampire Diaries, if you get past the first five or so narmy episodes the series really Grows the Beard and becomes kind of awesome. (Though stay away from the books, those are just terrible)

I still prefer fanon with ponies having longer that us lifespan so I think CMC have more in human years.

That reminds me, I really need to watch the From Dusk Till Dawn films sometime. I heard that there suppose to be really kickass.

The only vampires I hate are the pussy vampire-wannabes like Edward Cullen. Otherwise, I'm willing to watch any movies that have them in it.

no pony is ever given a stated age, there not even any evidence that ponies age at the same rate as humans, though an early Word of Faust was that there is a bigger disconnect between physcial and emotion/mental maturity then in humans.
