I work in a Hospital running complex laboratory equipment, and up until last year I often had to decide whether to buy food or pay the electricity bill.

Things have gotten a bit easier, I still dont make enough money but my boyfriend fills in the gaps where Im short now.

I still make too much to get financial aid somehow though

I... don't think the government funds sporting arenas. At least not wholly. They're privately owned, after all. Not to mention quite good for the local economy.

Actually they do, on the theory that they'll get the money back in extra taxes. Except that they usually dont.
