The actual round three. And actually, I do think that he hasn't been challenged enough yet. Just because I like heroes being awesome doesn't mean I want them to just waltz through every challenge.

@ginger I just like Past sins for being an interesting story. It's not a case of rabid fanboyism or anything, I just found the story interesting (And sadly incompatible with canon as of season 2).

@ginger At the part I'm currently reading, Fukunaga gets paired with a nervous opponent and is currently Curbstomping him. Though I do anticipate the Akiyama's going to lose his battle. Not 100% sure on that, though.

@Crow What do you think of Yokoya? The end of round 3 INITIALLY pissed me off but then Yokoya turns it around and gives Akiyama the first real descension of pegs he gets in the manga

He's alright, very good at getting under the other team's skin, but I haven't seen him do enough yet to get a good sense of the character.

@ginger Though his strategy irritates me, it's very effective.

I anticipate he'll be a threat in Round 4, though I'm not sure how.

And he's probably going to get new mice.

@ Ginger: Tries to kill Nyx or something but unknowingly uses the head of the cult that brought Nyx into being to do it. She fails and later gets sealed in the sun by a fully powered Nightmare Moon. But at least she got a fight, originally Luna was disposed of off page. That's what I'd guess was being referred to anyway.

Man, the thing with Celestia is one of the main reasons I won't read that fic. Everything I've heard about her and Twilight's actions sounds completely out of character.

@Ginger. Celestia makes a huge (If unintentional and villain organized) fuck up. If I recall your big list of things you hate that was towards the top.

@crow Akiyama's strategy in round 3 bugged the crap out of me. Mostly because it's of the "He's won but we don't know it, making almost everything Yokoya did to try and counter it meaningless in hindsight" variety

It strikes me as false tension

@ginger: I kind of like plots like that because, as long as you aren't in on the plan until the end, its like a mental puzzle seeing how everything comes together.
