I never particularly cared for Derpy besides as a symbol of the fandom. I never really paid much attention to background ponies at all. But her characterization in The Last Roundup won me over, I actually would like to see more of her in the show. It's too bad Hasbro freaked out over it.

She just called that speak - 'fancy', for sake of joke. What's big deal, this not suggest that she didn't know "real name", or maybe it just nickname for that language. This show always give silly names to real life stuff.

And that episode: from what I saw people liked it more than because of Derpy, not counting those who didn't liked it, or trolls.

Griffins - I still like to think they are warrior race with also strong cooking related culture.

In that case: Fancy Pants, Filthy Rich, Fleur, The Oranges and Silver Spoon (she's got a heart of gold, that one).

I like to think of the oranges as being odd, but essentially well-meaning. After all, they did take in their niece, no questions asked. And brought her to their parties, so they were obviously making an effort to try and help her adapt. It's just difficult to say what they were like, since we never actually saw anything of them in the episode.

Bluespade, that pagetopper was freaking epic.

@Purple I didn't think Hoity Toity was that bad either, he was just doing his job, (he'd replace Fleur on my list)

The guy who made it did one for each of the Mane 6, plus Spike I think. You should check them out, they're cool.

I swear, every time I see those X like [pony] videos, I can't help but think of an MLP version of Oban Star Racers.

@Ginger:A really cool sci-fi racing show. French/Japanese made, kind of a mix of anime and cartoon styles. I didn't get to finish it since they stopped selling them here but I think there were pretty good villains in it.

@Blue It's on Youtube. (At least English version).

I say it's best animated peace from France or Japan.

Me too, but it managed to be good anyway. Actually I've always despised the idea of racing shows, yet ended up liking two of them: Oban Star Racers and IGPX. Anyone seen IGPX?

Races many times in show were more like dogfihts or other types of battles anyway.
