We had the discussion about what to call the female fans already.

I read somewhere (probably on the MLP page here) that female fans are called "fillies", but that's also the name of a child pony.

Well, I've heard Pegasis as a name for adult female fans.

Most fans agree that terms Brony is gender neutral now.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Pegasis was the original pre-Fi M name for female fans, so I think it works.

Pegasis either sounds tacky, or too much like someone doesn't know how to pluralize pegasus.

Everyone knows the plural of pegasus is pegasodes.
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

[up][up][up]Despite the word "brony" deriving from the shortened word for "brother".

Well, yeah, the evolution of language can be weird like that.

"Bronies" is silly, IMO, but "pegasisters" is even worse.

"Pega Sisters"?

Oftentimes, people do seem to forget that the word "Brony" sounds completely and utterly RIDICULOUS to an outsider [lol]

[up][up]Wouldn't they hear it as "Brawny"? [up]Those names are funny and make one sound witty and cool.

Yeah, and the trope could only apply an estimate that does not actually match the calculation of what the character's talking about at all! In other words, "Over 9000", for example, would not apply to this trope because the character is using a device to get an accurate number. Often used for comedic or intentionally vague purposes, often by a character who is laid-back or not particularly scholarly.
