I always did find it strange how practically every villian gives Pip a quest. I think Topaz and the Enclave are the only ones who don't.

well at least the Godess had a very very specific reason she needed those exact three for the job, Lil'pip for her lockpicking skill, Velvet for her relation to one of the mane 6 and ability to bypass shields tuned to them, and Calamity for his being the only active pegasi beneath the clouds.
