I think the problem with Velvet is that she isn't consistant. She's either incredibly threatening or completely incompetent.

To be fair to Red, up until this chapter she'd only faced off against Pinkie, and Pinkie has gone to great lengths to make Velvet unthreatening. Curacao admits her mistake in letting that happen and apparently takes it upon herself to prove that Pinkie is not unbeatable.

No really Bad, what don't you like about the chapter? I'm actually curious.

I don't think Pinkie needed another power up, I don't think Pinkie should have saved the day especially when there was a fine alternative of Rainbow actually using her new powers to save the day and I don't think Rainbow should have been completely worthless outside of her ability to make Pinkie happy.

Rarity's my favorite pony, actually. I find it ridiculous that some people hate her when she really doesn't do anything that bad.

She uses one of the only methods available to her to fight back against being enslaved and used as a pack mule by underground scavengers? Oh no, how could she possibly?

Granted, her approach to fame in "Sweet And Elite" isn't the best, but she learns her lesson.

Hi guys! I read that new CEQ chapter.

Red Velvet screwing with the text freaked me out, at least when the distortion seemed to start to suddenly grow on my screen. I'm not sure if that was due to slow updating, or intentional, but it did creep me out. Also, Curacao keeps showing herself to be more and more competent as time goes on. I actually pegged her as the least powerful of the mean 6, but its safe to say I'm wrong there. She would have probably won that Pinkie fight if Red didn't interrupt. Also, its interesting to note that according to Red, Havocwing is just as fearful as Fluttershy, just she hides it better.

EDIT: Or we could talk about other things. How about them apples?

I assumed it was due to slow loading. I don't think it's impossible to make it grow like that intentionally. Anyway, I think Applejack is the best match for Curie. She could probably use her earth powers to find Curie, just like another famous Earthbender.

^ So far, she's only appeared in one scene. She's busy trying to stop Discord from returning.

Well, AJ obviously listens to country and bluegrass.

Rarity is classical music, mixed perhaps with some chart music.

And RD is a rock chic. As is Pinkie. Actually, pinkie would listen to pretty much anything you can dance to.
