Shuckle is an unassuming example of maximum trolling. Encore, Stealth Rock, Knock Off, and some other move to better Invoke Rage

With good prediction, you can keep entry hazards on their side, force switches, and wreck their held items. Sure, Trick and Switcheroo can actually cripple opponents with unwanted held items, but getting rid of Leftovers or Choice Items is nearly as good.

My favourite type is Grass by far. Which puts me in a difficult situation as I'm currently trying to beat Falkner in Shiny Gold. (My poor Chikorita)

About my pony parents idea, if they don't want to show Applejack's parents (or want to confirm that they're dead or moved away), Granny Smith and/or Big Macintosh could play that role for her in the story. Although I think Pity the Kidnapper would be in effect if the villain tried to kidnap Big Macintosh unless his strength was somehow nullified (like if he was knocked out or put under a sleeping spell).

I'd go with Ice or Flying for Favorite types. Honchkrow is best Pokemon, though.

Also, I find everyone gets affected by paralysis in my playthroughs.

@ Story: OHKO moves are generally banned for tournament play. And Machamp can't learn any of them, so it would only benefit the opponent on that level. And barely anyone double battles anyway.

I once had a Butterfree named Buttters.

I often ended up with pokemon named after a completely different species. Like a Rattata named Charmander or something like that. (I don't remember the specific examples). Also, all dozen plus of my Exeguttors had the same name except for a number on the end.

I still hate Whitney's Milktank with the intensity of a thousand suns.

OHKO moves aren't worth it, in my opinion. They miss all the time and you only get 5 chances.

Also, can't you just use Lock On or Mind Reader or something? Also, I think in Gen 1 there was a way to make them hit every time.

Oh, leeching is another thing that I love doing. Got to love it when I'm healing myself and hurting my enemy simultaneously.

That's why I love fighting with the zubat line, even if it's annoying to have to fight them.
