I think I forgot to tell you people in my last post that Treehouse is going to be airing a three-hour marathon of MLP today from 3-6, I guess for the season 2 premiere next week. Now this is the kind of treatment the show should be getting in Canada.

I suddenly remember the weird thought I had the other day. Well, maybe not so weird in comparison, but it was weird to me when I thought about it.

Basically, I was wondering what a Tagalog dub of the episodes would sound like.

I guess the weird bit was imagining being able to watch ponies on local television.

Ok, this is my new headcannon, reading Bringing up Blueblood and the fic put out the idea that back before Tia and Luna the unicorns did control the sun and moon, but it wasn't a group of them, it took nearly all of them, and required a constant bit of magic from them to keep them going, meaning that their magic was much weaker due to the drain.

@Kyler Given what other people have said about the dubs, you might be talking about how the voices or certain translation choices don't fit and how you prefer the original.
