2. Littlepip is inconsistently characterized. For example, chapter 4 largely consists of her scavenging weapons and armor. Then in chapter 5 when she's in the stable with Calamity the narration (see point 3) gives us a pang of outrage at how Calamity is looting the place. Might've been a nice spot for introspection and character development, but then in chapter 6 she's right back to fishing through the bodies of the slavers she guns down. So all it does is make her look like a bit of a hypocrite. Similar problem arises with the way the story tries to present Littlepip as a paragon of goodness and compassion and then has her being extraordinarily ruthless to her enemies (the whole "gunning down a terrified, fleeing raider" bit in chapter 3 left a bad taste in my mouth).

She only complained about looting the stable because it was a stable and reminded her of home.

well most of the is either YMMV stuff so yeah no biggie if it just doens't strike you right, or stuff that is true for whre your at, the story doesn't really start into Growing the Beard till the teens, then really hit's it's stride in the twenties.

But the problem is that it shouldn't take that fucking long.

And the reason she was upset about looting the stable but nothing else was the stable reminded her of home, yeah it wasn't rational, but it was understandable...and yes it was a bit hypocritical too.

Does the story do anything with it? Is there development from it? Is there a payoff?

Whiiiich is somewhat inconsistent with how much she complains about the sexism in the stable. While indicating some sexism of her own.

I still don't recommend this fic to anypony who haven't played/liked Fallout.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

It's depressing, because remembering some of the moments from FOE was able to calm me down on this thread several times

and now I see that all the new readers (pannic, Lurker, JT) just don't care

I don't like Fallout... I hate it in fact

Man, the server issues at Ponibooru still haven't been fixed? According to the update twitter, there's no reason for it not to be working, but there are still errors.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, JT told me that his stance on the fic is that the present stuff is pretty good apart from a few problems in the first few chapters, he just doesn't like what he's seen involving the Canon charectors.

That's my point. Dislike of that game had influence on your enjoyment of fic.

That's problem with all crossovers.

For me stuff about war is just average grimdark war fic with many annoying parst.

@Death Huh? No. I didn't think about Fallout ONCE while I was reading this fic. and all of my problems with it have nothing to do with the fallout related stuff.

I forgot this was based off a videogame tbh

@Death I don't think so. I got all the references and I appreciated them. (even though it was kinda subconscious)

I was able to enjoy the story just fine without giving a shit about the games

Yeah that' one of the great things about the fic, you DON'T need to kow the fallout games to get it, sure it gives you a better understdning of somethings, but it's not required.
