Heh, considering Curacao's lines to Flathoof in Ch.21 and wwhat she teases Applejack with in Ch.13, I'm actually convinced she's kind of attracted to him.

I still think that Curacao is keeping Insipid loyal to her because Insipid is the only one who has the potential to beat Starlight if Star has a breakdown at some point. She's keeping Insipid as a backup

Ch. 21: She teases Applejack again about Flathoof not being her boyfriend, then adds that maybe he'd like a pony with finer taste, indicating herself and winking.

Ch. 13: She asks if Flathoof would be interested in her, since he's not with Applejack, noting that he's "tres beau" and "robuste".
