@ Death: Thing is; besides Sally being the leader of the Freedom Figters and Sonic's love interest her quest to find her father is sort of a large part of her character. That's why I think Twilight should also be on a personal quest to find a loved one. Actually, Shining Armour would be perfect for the role of missing relative. And considering that in FIM continuity he is the captain of the gaurd and able to cast powerful magic it does make sense for him to be important to the story beyond being Twi's brother.

@Pony Abridged Series: I'd say that none of the Abridged Series out there are perfect. If you put them together, however, you'd have a pretty awesome product. My favorite bits are (purely from memory):

Friendship Is Witchcraft's songs, great and varied voicecast, quotable lines and sometimes clever plot deviations (like turning "Look Before You Sleep" into Twi forcing her friends to reenact a horrible shipping fanfic written by her).

The Mentally Advanced Series' Dashie is pretty lovable. So is Apple Bloom, a great Only Sane Man. Scootaloo is great. The dialogue often is super-fast-paced and cleverly constructed. Also THRAKERZOD.

Camaraderie Is Supernatural also has a nice cast. Applejack changing accents with every line is funny, but Pinkie as an actual Fangirl of the show within the show is genius. Also, the meta message of the pilot episodes is really cleverly made, showing what an Abridged Series should be.

A roomba is a Robotic Vacuum cleaner that is kind of funny to watch cuz it goes around in circles and stuff... itll vacuum in circle until it bumps something then go in a straight line...

Twilight could try to find more that just one relative, some other characters could have similar quest (like AJ).

Admitedly Sally is a lot like Twilight (grouchy anal retentive but with a kind intelligent outlook), but she lacked as much individual development. They were too busy developing her chemistry with Sonic and how much she 'completed' him than to spotlight her own characteristics and shortcomings as much. Her search for her father could have worked well with the right development, but it seemed a bit shallow (it didn't help most of the episodes discussing him were filled with plotholes). Putting Twilight and her own relatives like Shining Armor in that role could actually result in more depth.

Mean-spirited though it may be, it's got a whole lot of catchy tunes.

It's really a shame that it gets such a bad rap. Most people who are aware of it only think of it as "that dumb musical that stole the Oscar away from Lord of the Rings/Gangs of New York/The Pianist."

Back when I watched Chicago, I didn't really get it and had to leave partway through out of boredom. But if you think it's good, maybe I should give it another shot some day.

Also, Firefly has all unsympathetic characters? What show are you watching?

@Death: I like your ideas for the Hydra and the dragons. I still hope that your able to find a good role for Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy to play. Those three will probably have to fill in the "Not based on any SATAM charector" spots you mentioned eariler, or something like that.

I don't think the Strangelove thing actually hurt anyone. Though the other things he did are pretty bad, you make it sound like Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking.
