Also, you could try something different like learning to program. It's easier and more useful.

I stopped to participate next to season's 2 ending, because of spoilers. Then I watched the episode a week later. Then I tried to read all the posts about then, then today I gave up.

@Nom: I'm assuming you don't have a job or if you do, it doesn't pay well. Either way, I trust that things will get better for you. -hugs-

[up]Yeah, going to school and only having two minimum-paying part-time jobs is a real hassle in Michigan. Really sucks because no other companies have been willing to hire me.

@Nom: Eh, the one job I wanted didn't hire me because the position got taken and the other job hasn't replied back yet. So, you're in school? College or High? Also, good on you to have two part times. At least you'll have something for a future resume.

@Seraph

I knowwhat you mean, finding a real friend on Real Life is hard. I know there are always people that aren't worth and people that will try to harm you like those you mentioned.

But that doesn't mean you have to be alone. You can improve your life.

Someone that wants to have friends must a friend first.But not everyone that calls himself a "friend" is a true friend.

I advice you to try new activities that way you will have an excuse to meet new people!

Do you like dancing? take dancing classes!, do you like sports join a club!. and if you don't find a friend there try another place. I am sue you will find what you need smile

[up][up][up][up]College, and I already have a resume, but so far it's only gotten me one job that I got let go from due to learning difficulties and an overly-controlling boss.

[up]I have been out of high school since 2005, and I have had no luck with the job market until last year, at which point I got my second part-time job (first being mom's business). Status of the job market here is relatively FUCKED, especially when personal interaction is strongly discouraged in place of encouraging fucking electronic applications without any company accepting resumes unless there's no alternative!

Fallen is right Seraph, you cannot restrict yourself to a small set of activities and expect to meet new people. I've been a hermit for years and have sometimes been deeply unhappy with my eremitic lifestyle. Recently I decided to join a few social groups to meet more people around my own age and I'm generally happier for it. This isn't to say it will make you happy as well, but it's worth a shot. As Fallen also said, you have to be willing to take a chance and reach out to people rather than wait for them to approach you.

@Seraph I agree with what Drenius said.

I advice you to start looking for activities you like and maybe inviting a coke or something to someone you like just to chatsmile
