@Turtlebutter: Eh? Which ponies were in this Wave 2 you ordered from Hasbro? Because I thought the only Blind Bags already released in the USA were Wave 1, and that's the wave that Hasbro's site sells.

Now I'm thinking about MLPFIM and Sat AM crossover in fussion fic style.

Cast of Sonic Satam would be replaced by ponies. I really want to see small group of pony rebels (and other creatures too) fighting evil cyborg pony and who robotizate everypony and everybody.

Sugar Grape, Bumblesweet, Lily Blossom, uhh... Pepperdance.

Im pretty sure they are Wave 1 but the box was labeled Wave 2 for some reason. Its a shame I dont have it anymore or I'd take a pic of it for you.

Now that is an intreasting idea you got their. Would the mane cast play any kind of role in it? And BTW, if I gave off the inpression that I hated SATAM, I actually do like it, it's just that the second season had some pretty big flaws. I actually have the complete series on DVD.

Im looking at has them labeled as Wave III, having considered the blister packed singles of the Mane 6 that you could buy (not in blind bags) as Wave I, and a multipack which has Peachy Pie in it as Wave II (I have to buy it just for Peachy Pie I think..)

@Turtlebutter: Most sites only count the 24-pony Blind Bag sets as waves; the box sets (Pony Collection Set, Friendship Celebration Collection, Pony Rainbow Collection) and individual releases aren't usually considered waves.

Anyway, BigBadToyStore says that a wave besides Wave 1 is going to be released, and according to this

there's going to be another wave besides that one.

In my idea it would alternate universe where show character (or their expy) could showed up in roles inspired by Sat AM character. But also that universe could be crossed with with "mane" one. Like ponies from Sat AM inspired looking for help from FIM world.

The funny thing is that a few of the Sat AM characters actually mirror the ponies, albeit a bit more one dimentional (Sonic=Rainbow Dash, Sally=Twilight Sparkle, Bunnie=Applejack). It's amusing when the highly saccharine yet complex show about ponies shows how the Dark And Edgy action show could have improved itself.

I agree with Marson that a lot of it's problems came during the second season however (though not all of them).

I just hope its a wave with the stallions in it. I have enough of the others that I can make customs of anypony I want, just need some stallions now ^_^

Since I have off this summer there will be much customization going on! I made ghost ponies the other day out of all my blind bag duplicates and they shall soon be repainted to random ponies!

@Death:Except Red Eye actually had well-intentions but very misguided methods of getting to them {Much like his Fallout counterpart Ashner or whatever his name was}, while Robotnik was just a bastard.

Very true. If anything Darker and Edgier often just leads to pretentiousness. I could actually stand Sat AM more than other darker Sonic interpretations because it still had a decent amount of whimsy to give it character, but even then it was up it's own ass in places.

@mars I wouldn't even call Red Eye's methods particularly misguided. The only things seperating Red Eye from Littlepip was a lack of information, and the fact that he was a cynic while Pip was an idealist
