I was watching the Princess Promenade G3 story and noticed some interesting ironies and similarities to Luna's conflict in "Luna Eclipsed." Both she and Spike were asleep/sealed for a thousand years and thus both weren't aware of newer manners and protocol (and Spike didn't realize that there was a very democratic society of ponies living above his cave), and like Spike in the G3 story, Luna uses manners and behavior that she remembers were proper for royalty before, but that confuse the citizens of Ponyville. However, one irony is that Spike tells Wysteria something like "a princess never raises her voice" whereas Luna was scaring everyone with the Royal Canterlot Voice that was the older tradition for her.
