Pinkie is definitely intelligent (she built a working pedal copter thingy) the sugar just makes her seem ditzy.

I'm still going with Pinkie is actually hypoglycemic, if she doesn't keep her sugar levels extremely high she crashes hard and becomes almost catatonic.

And a cannon, and a welcome wagon, and a taffy machine (or something like that).

@Seraph Well, real wild horses form harems IIRC, so I think it wouldn't be taboo. It probably wouldn't be all that common, like in our world.

I like to think that Pinkie (without sugar) reverts to a polite Amish way of speaking and starts wearing bonnets over her braided mane, piling rocks in the garden.

I wonder if Pinkie's sisters eventually left the farm to pursue other careers?
