yeah the only thing wrong with FPK was how badly the butchered the moral they were going for, everything else was hilarious.

They just handled it a bit clumsily, and on a personal level I don't quite agree with the moral. At least, not the stated moral, ie. "There are some things that have no explanation and you'll never understand and you must accept that.". I'm fine with the real moral of the episode, which is that "There are some things that just don't fit your worldview, but that doesn't make them not true."

I always felt the FPK moral was "Every idea has merit no matter how strange or absurd it might seem"

I saw the moral as "Be tolerant of other people's beliefs."

And the Pinkie Sense was a fun idea so I can forgive the episode for any flaws it may have.

well the moral was SUPPOSED to be (per word of god) that your should trust that your friends know what they are talking about, even if you don't completely understand it. Or something like that.

Outside of the moral I don't think people hated FPK as much as everyone thinks, and by this point the hate has pretty much bleed away. People are probably more likely to call Owls Well That Ends Well the worst episode (an episode I actually liked) the worst of Season One rather then FPK.

and most of the "hate" for Owlswell wasn't hate, just apathy, it was just 'meh'

yeah only issue people have with FPK s the horribly botched moral, rest is great...and the teleport thing.

comeon it gave us the first "We love you" to the bronies from the staff.
