Seems like they are both right, they each think there is one line for Good/Bad Chronomancers think it's Law/Chaos, Griffon's Light/Dark, when really it appears more like a two axis graph with each of those being an axis.

the Arcane/Void is more about where the magic comes from, Arcane being an inherently lawful and pure source of magic, Void being inherently dark and destructive.

Anyway, yeah, in CEQ you can't really be sure of anything as nopony knows what they're talking about.

@ Ginger it's mostly becuase we have so little cannon Luna, if she had as much screen time as Tia it would most likely be more even.

I wouldn't say the author is actually makin Celestia weaker at all, either. It's obviously taking a lot of effort to keep that seal up, and there's enough info to go around that Whooves' estimated timeline was made after the seal began to weaken, which presumably Celestia noticed immediately. That timeline is with her holding the seal , so imagine what would've happened without her?

That's just my theory anyway.

Can we get back to the incest discussion?

Yeah, and seeing as I'm in the minority that actually PREFERS Celestia (rolls eyes) I always get fucked over when it comes to fanfics

and yet again becuase your you you over inflate everything to make sure it's the WORST! POSSIBLE! THING! that completly proves the point you hate. CEQ has done NOTHING that even comes close to in any way making even an attempt at comparing Tia and Luna so there's no way it can be doing what you think it is.

@Ginger: I doubt the author forgot about Luna (she gets an offhand mention in the Whooves bit narration), but it seems to me that she's being left out on purpose perhaps? Maybe the author likes Celestia, seeing as he implies Whooves only cares about informing her, and only her.

@Seraph: Well remember that Applejack is worried about looking even remotely incestuous.

Also most likely Tia maintains the seal during the day, then Luna does it at night..that way they each get time to rest.

Whooves most likely doens't know Luna, he's appearntly had several decades, if not centuries in which he knew Tia, he knows she knows him and will listen, he might not have even gotten a chance to meet Luna yet.

As for incest, I'm unsure of what the genetic load of ponies is. Probably lower than humans IRL due to domestication, but it would be diferent for Equestrians.
