Btw, Blue. I was discussing the intelligences of the Mean 6 from CEQ compared to the characters of ASOIAF with Bad yesterday, and since you're the only other person who'd get what I'm on about (and you seem to have displayed at least SOME level of interest in CEQ) I figure I'd tell you too

@Ginger:Uh, ok, I still am not entirely sure who all those characters are though. But are you calling Applejack one of the dumbest characters? I'd say she's among the smartest. She certainly has the most common sense.

Intelligence in Mane 6:

1. Rarity.

2. Applejack.

3. Twilight.

4. Fluttershy.

5. Rainbow Dash.

6. Pinkie Pie.

In my opinion anyway.

Btw, are you claiming AGOT!Sansa as smarter, or dumber than the book version?

@Bluespade: They all have different kinds of intelligence. AJ's big on practical knowledge, Twi and Rarity overlap in their intellectual stuff, only Rarity has a higher Social score, Dashie's good at Aerodynamics and applied physics, Fluttershy's excellent in Biology and such, and Pinkie is very creative and perceptive.

@Sereg: Well, technically it's more of a Twi and Dashie fic that kind of reminds me of Zork minus the Grues (which apparently retired to Gensokyo and became Rumia), but Star Swirl plays a large role in the story.

And Rainbow's gotta be pretty high.

I noticed in an earlier discussion that the idea of Rarity trying to teach Twilight to be more "proper" was mentioned as a potential episode. That one sounds interesting to me. Perhaps it could have a conflict where Rarity is not only doing it because she thinks that Twilight would WANT everyone to know who she's related to, but also because Rarity herself wants Twilight's status to be more obvious so that she can brag about having a friend who is royalty. But Rarity doesn't realize that consciously until later, either she realizes what she was doing was more for her own benefit than Twilight's or else someone points it out to her. The idea IS admittedly rather similar to "Green Isn't Your Color" but if it didn't involve a conflict of keeping secrets and was done differently enough it could end up being more unique in execution.
