Also, I'm back from nothing in particular!
What be the haps all up in this thread, dawgz!?
Yeah, that had to be my pagetopper.

My interests are as Mayflies. That didn't sound pretentious at all.
But why go to the trouble? It does take a while to type.

Re: White Dove, well that sucks, but at least bronies are taking it well, sure some are pissed at Hasbro but most seem to understand that it's all the fault of the bullshit US Copyright Laws and aren't holding it agsint them.
Seems as long as they have
Plausible Deniablity that they did not know about it there cool with the plushies. It's only when they are at risk of losing copyright claim that they step in. Same with the youtube vids, they took down just enough to make the lawyers happy but didn't go on a crusade to block them all.
Though a lot of people have a good idea, she should see if she could work out some type of licensing deal.

Well she's trying but she hasn't been contacted by Hasbro yet.

Hey there, Kegi. How's the move coming?
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Now I wonder who reported her. A troll?

Maybe it was someone who was just jealous.

Someone who apparently goes by the name "Turtle" and he may or may not be stalking her specifically.
Confounded modern Internalnet doohicky. In the old days, if we wanted to talk to someone far away we sent 'em a letter!
Over here, an extended stay motel is actually cheaper than an apartment.

Well, I'm technically staying in a hostel-type-thing(Personal rooms, but shared bathroom). With the other guy here, it's 15 bucks a night. That comes out to a fair bit cheaper than most apartments.
Yeah, but if Hasbro found it themselves, that's one thing. If someone essentially mails them and says "Psst...This one's making MLP plushies. Why don'tcha go rough her up some?" it's another entirely.

It's sad how haters and trolls can always just claim copyright infringement on fanworks they don't like.

well the story we're hearing is that someone specifically made sure Hasbro was aware. And judging by the wording they said on the C&D they dind't tell her to stop making the plushies, just stop advertising about them on DA.
Also seems it's Trademark not Copyright, but not like 90% of people can really tell the difference.

By the way, does anyone know of any notable palette swaps of Fluttershy? I know that Tealove is Pinkie Pie and Snowcatcher is Rarity.

The white dove issue seems familiar. OH RIGHT SCROLLS. Same issue different ending. Stupid goddamn trademark law demanding lawsuits over frivolous issues.
Ploomette was kind of famous for being introduced with Glimmer Wings.
And Applejack is here too!
About this plushie business, didn't there used to be some dude that made a Faustpony plushie that Lauren Faust actually ended up buying?
same person.

Wow, that's... that's just... I don't know what to say about that.
