If it's soupy noodles, just break some eggs in there and cook it up good.

I'm disapointed by the lack of Derpy images. Anyone think this one is a good one to add?

Was he anything like the Tick Tock Man from The Stand?

I wouldn't know. Not a huge Stephen King fan.

Just Dr. Tick-Tock sticks out to me because the one time I rented episodes of that show, the episode opened with an incredibly clumsy dialogue where Speed tells Pops Racer that he's going to some town and, out of nowhere, Pops said "Beware of Dr. Tick-Tock!" It was so random it was almost like something Pinkie Pie would say, coming from the normally-serious mouth of Pops Racer.

(I'm probably the only guy on this whole forum who actually cares about Speed Racer in this day and age tho)

Hooray. EQD reported on White Dove being shut down. I hope this doesn't turn out like that torrent site.

@Story; You'd have to resize or crop it, but it's cool.

[up] Nah man, the response has been mostly: "Well, that sucks." or "HASBRO Y U NO MAKE BETTER PLUSHIES" or "Copyright laws are a bitch."

Mosley Orange's maiden name must be Harmless. Inb4 Stallions don't have maiden names.

Mosely Orange is Applejack's Uncle Orange, and the other six are background ponies.

Background ponies I've never heard of though. I thought I knew this fandom fairly well. Then again, I've never cared much for the background ponies.

Well the EQD post seems clear and well reasoned so hopefully it won't incite another buysomeapplesstorm.

Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

Well those aren't the fanon names. For example, Noteworthy is more commmonly known as Blues and Goldengrape is Sir Colton Vines. I don't know the others.

In general, yeah, I'm OK.

Hey, I wonder what new words and phrases have appeared since page 8000 that were never used before.

Yeah, the original series is an acknowledged anime classic. But I mean caring about the manga (which is now available in English), the spinoff cartoons* and sequel anime etc.

That Mach 5 is damn awesome.

What about the movie? Wasn't there a Speed Racer movie a while back?

My mom took her fourth graders to see that when it came out. She hated it, and made particular mention of one kid in the movie flipping someone off.

Still haven't heard of them.

The Speed Racer movie had good effects, but nothing else was good about it. I still thought it was decent though.

I saw the last half of the live-action movie when they were giving us extra-long breaks at the theater I work at one day. It was pretty neat, but the way they did scene transitions with pieces "sliding" into frame was a little strange.

Emerald Ray of the Crystal Empire, huh? Maybe there'll be an Emerald City!
And Applejack is here too!

I admit that the Speed Racer movie probably won't appeal to everyone, but I enjoyed its stylistic choices and even the story.

Still haven't heard of them.

The only reason I've heard of them is because of the controversy over whether to use the toy names or not. AFAIK, they aren't particularly noteworthy characters.
