If I remember, there are these goggles that eskimos use that only have these little slits in them, but I don't remember if they're for looking at the sun and not going blind, or for not going blind even though you're not looking at the sun because the light is reflecting off of all the snow.

Because it's a giant burning ball of gas that's basically an atom bomb exploding for a really really long time, and it makes heat and light and energy that makes us warm and makes food grow so we can eat, and it's just so amazing that if it didn't make us go blind we could stare at its profound awesomeness.

There are special glasses for viewing solar eclipses. Sun glasses aren't good enough. These glasses make you completely unable to see anything except the sun itself.

I saw a partial solar eclipse in high school. My teacher let us go outside to peek every so often during class.

Also, as the Chinese zodiac was discussed earlier, I'm a fire tiger.
