I wouldn't mind being adopted, and by adopted I mean adopted by the Apple family. Because then I would actually have a big brother and a little sister, and that would be the most awesome thing ever.

I have a group of humans who are essentially vikings. Their leader is welcomed by a filly with a string of jewels running through her mane. He proceeds to cave her skull in and take her jewels. After realizing how common valuable gems are in Equestria, the lot of them kill and burn their way across the country collecting all they can find.

Yeah I know. Isn't it awesome? It's headcanon I developed from watching G1 episodes.

Since I'm talking about my fanfiction anyway, I might as well shamelessly plug them, again. Actually I really want comments on the most recent chapter.

@Rich: Pegasus weather team reports the missing ponies. A scout is dispatched from the Wonderbolts with bottled dragonfire to send a message back to the Sun and Moon Thrones. After the word spreads, the vikings are driven away from settlements by Cloudsdale weather teams setting K-1 or higher-class storms upon them, and the Day and Night guards of the Canterlot Elite division drive them into the Everfree, where the megafauna feasts well later that night.

Also now I can see some kind of special shoe with a stylus tip so ponies can paw at the iPad with their hooves :3

I've got a CEQ question that's been nagging me for the past few chapters, seeing as they're really close to it - Hope's Point: What's the general thought on what the place is like? What kind of ponies live there, how do they work their system? They're obviously not supported by Pandemonium, so what kind of technology do they have?

I'm just curious because the group is so close, and the place has been mentioned and hinted at dozens upon dozens of times as a place a major importance. I like to think of the place kind of in the same way I would think of a mix of Rivendell and Mos Eisley - a place of great importance where the heroes will finally get a chance to rest in safety, to recover and forge plans for the rest of their journey. Will they meet new ponies there that will truly help them on their journey? Or is the place just as seedy and corrupt as Pandemonium is?

Main reason for bringing it up now is because Rainbow Dash is headed there now, by herself, so we might see it soon.

Solar Eclipse pictures

Would the Sisters ever do a commemerative solar eclipse deliberately? I know Celestia did in fanfics before.

Has anyone here ever seen an eclipse? I remember seeing one when I was 6.
