Seraph: 4 actually runs on something of an ATB system, but the turn values the are hidden, since there's no bars (I'm playing FF4DS right now and they added visible bars to this version). I also had no issue with 10's combat pacing.

You're absolutely correct of course. I was much more interested in the setting and the use of a borderline eldritch abomination as the main threat.

I still don't know what Insipid sounds like. I can't get her voice straight in my head.

I just don't like how Pinkie's Powers have such incredibly ARBITRARY limitations. At least AJ's limitations actually make sense, if not a tad too restricting. She's like the absorbing man... only with more rules

As for CRISIS, yeah, it's like I'm enjoying watching the O Cs more than the Mane 6. Because I want to go "Why are you acting like this!? You're friends!" whereas the O Cs are just a bundle of fun to watch no matter what they're doing.

EDIT:Clearly we have similar tastes in powers. I normally like my powers well defined with understandable, non-arbitrary limitations. So I agree with you that like Pinkie's the least and AJ's the most. Of course, their are exceptions, like in Medaka Box, because that series is about enjoying the blatant ridiculousness of everything so I can accept the incredibly weird and occasionally arbitrary powers that sometimes crop up there.

Made an edit. Yeah, I'll be honest that I find Lockwood less interesting than any of the other O Cs for the time spent on him, but I've been getting more attached. I prefer Silvertongue, the Mean 6 and Tick Tock. Tick Tock is awesome. Her entire attitude is "why do I have to deal with these idiots?"

I guess the blue one can be Shallow Valley and the pink one can be Spandex. (shrugs shoulders)

Tick Tock reminds me of the Ninth Doctor. So she's one of my favourites.

I thought Storm Eagle was kinda cool.

@Ginger: Seriously, it's like he only had a limited supply of badass and chose to use it all in his intro.

Seymour started out awesome and then got progressively more ridiculous. He just wouldn't go away no matter how many times I kicked his ass. The last time he showed up my reaction was basically "Seriously? You again?"

But seriously, I actually really enjoyed X for the most part. It was the first FF game I got to play through from start to finish. Auron is badass.

And on that note, I'm going to go play IX now. I want to get to the end of disc 3 before I leave on vacation.

Well lets be fair, this IS Final Fantasy X, it's pretty much filled it's badass quotient just with Auron.

only FF games i actually played to the end and bet was 1, 2, and 12. X i got to the last Seymour fight and realized I missd a lot. same with 6, got to the last dungeon then realized i missed a lot. 4 I just could not beat the final boss. rest I just kinda got bored with

Tick Tock is ok, I think I prefered her when she WASN'T interacting with the rest of the cast actually.

I'm still gonna be so dissapointed if the final confrontation between Twi, Star, and Silvertongue isn't like the ending of Return of the Jedi
