I'll agree with that, ginger. Especially because Naoto looks insanely fucking powerful, so it bugs me I can't get her ultimate.

Not that I'd go with her anyways, probably. I've kept my party as Chei, Kanji and Yukiko the whole way through, not gonna switch 'em out now.

I liked Blue's Clues... had the green crayon and the yellow notepad as a lil' boy.

Then Steve's cousin came along, that orange sweater-wearing bastard...

Sounds like an interesting game.

@Storyyeller: There's a horribly sad ending where your characters make a fairly evil decision out of hatred and lose a loved one, an ending where you lose a loved one but make the right moral choice, an ending where you see through the falsehoods and discover the true killer, and an ending where you discover the true villain BEHIND the killer, who manipulated everything. That last one is the Golden Ending.

On a related note, the ending song from Persona 4 is probably the only song that never fails to make me start to tear up when I hear it. That game prompted so much emotion in me...

Ginger, honestly, would you stop it with the persecution complex? There are going to be other people in the world who are more perceptive than you at certain things. This is not the end of the world, nor is anyone here purposefully trying to make you feel inadequate or even implying that you are in any way.

[up] Only in Silent Hill. Although the last month of the game get's extremely Silent Hilly for awhile... maybe there is a connection!

Yeah it's really annoying who you interpert every single comment as an attack on you.

Ginger, stop being silly. Having a different opinion does not make you an idiot.

@Blue: Absolutely, 100% Agreed. I hadn't really found an Arc quite as good as Kanji's(His made me cry... I will admit that.), but all the social link arcs would heartwarming, and I genuinely cared about all the characters. The scene where Naoto dies was heartbreaking...

It would have been much better if my fucking roommates weren't there beating each other up and making fun of it all in the background, but eh.

So how is it handled? Does it just tell you to pick a killer at the end and give you an ending depending on that?

here we go this guy sums up my view perfectly

Yeah your going to get a negative view of the fandom if all you focus on is the stuff you don't like and ignore the vast vast VAST majority of other stuff out there which is in no way realted towhat you complaining about.

You must save Naoto, no matter what the cost.

@Story: Nah. First the game hands you a killer , and if you go with him then the game ends then and there. If you look deeper, you get an extra month or two for the new dungeon. If you look deeper still, then you get the 'real' ending, and another new dungeon, or so I hear.

[up]Holy shit! Beelzebub is like, the most powerful persona you can fuse! It's level fucking 90, I was level 50 when I fought Natot's shadow. Overkill much?

Ooh, Hey Blue! Guess what? I beat Persona 4!

For some reason, because Blue's Clues was brought up, I read it as addressing the titular character.tongue

@Blue You saying that the game forcing you to think in order to get even a slightly happy ending is a massively GOOD thing kinda just made me feel DUMB since that's exactly why I stopped playing.

... why must all the best videogame plots be for RPG's?!?! I'm no good at this strategy bullshit

@Story:Well at the point where you have the big list of killers to choose from, it's already past the point in the game where you conclude that the first guy you caught wasn't responsible. Also, you have an actual professional detective working with you, so if you pick any of the wrong options she tells you some logical reasons why it can't be them. When you actually do pick the right person though, the groups reaction is less "IT HAS TO BE THEM!!" and more "Nah. No way, but... we can't rule it out. I guess we should check?"
