On Sadness: Ginger, some people read because a story in engage's them. Sometimes the tragic elements are the parts that do it. I'm not saying you should like sad things if you don't, but sorrow is an inescapable part of human nature, and by reading about it in fiction, people can achieve catharsis, keeping them from having a breakdown in their day-to-day life.

@Berry Just a little shaken. I hate thinking about sad things. I'm a pretty sad person at the best of times. (my parents once said that they'd never seen me 100% happy)

I'm fine though... sad things, when I find them sad... they hit me hard!
